United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine’s Aerospace Medicine Primary (AMP) Course


The United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine's Aerospace Medicine Primary Course: This course trains medical officers to perform duties as flight surgeons and accomplish the objectives of the USAF Aerospace Medicine Program both in garrison and deployed. This course has been completely re-tooled in order to expand the total amount of information and training provided as well as remove barriers to entering the field of Aerospace Medicine. It is designed to complete the training medical officers need to competently perform the full spectrum of flight surgeon duties in support of the objectives of the USAF Aerospace Medicine Program.

 

The AMP course is a combination of didactic and laboratory experiences designed to prepare medical officers for basic mission qualification to perform duties in support of the objectives of the USAF Aerospace Medicine Program. If interested in this program, contact USAFSAM directly to get the most up-to-date information about the program.
